2025 Governor's Multicultural Awards

The Governor’s Multicultural Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding South Australians who promote multiculturalism and increase understanding of the benefits of cultural diversity in our community.

Nominating is a simple process that is open to all South Australians. Nominate an individual, team or organisation – and help share their story.

Recipients of the 2025 Governor's Multicultural Awards will be announced in early 2026.

Nominations must be submitted by 11pm on Sunday 28 September 2025.

If you wish to submit your nomination in hardcopy please email MulticulturalEvents@sa.gov.au to request a hardcopy of the nomination form.

Please ensure all details are complete and accurate before submitting your form.

You will need

1. The award category you are nominating for.
2. The name, age and contact details of the person you are nominating. If you are nominating a team or organisation, provide the details of the head of the organisation / team.
3. Details to support the nomination, including a supporting statement (up to 500 words), examples of the nominee’s work (Media Award only) and the names of two independent referees.
4. Your name and contact details (not required if you are self-nominating). If you are nominating on behalf of an organisation, provide the details of the head of the organisation.
