About the Multicultural Community Fund

The Multicultural Community Fund is a $20 million investment by the Government of South Australia to develop multicultural community infrastructure across the state.

The Fund supports the creation of culturally accessible and inclusive spaces that foster connection, celebrate identity, and enable communities to host and lead their own events.

Through this investment, the Fund aims to address gaps in community infrastructure, create welcoming venues for cultural celebration, and strengthen the capacity of multicultural communities to manage and deliver their own spaces.

The Fund will support multicultural community infrastructure projects including:

  • New builds – constructing new community or multicultural facilities,
  • Upgrades and extensions – significant renovations or extensions to existing owned community facilities, and
  • Outdoor spaces – development or upgrade of owned and secured outdoor community or cultural spaces.

Applications are welcome from all eligible organisations, regardless of the stage of development.

If you would like to discuss your proposal, please contact the Multicultural Community Fund team on 08 8429 3200 or multiculturalcommunityfund@sa.gov.au
